/ Historical Review

In 1949, the architect Humberto Willa Isaza, the engineer Julio Omar Cordoba Eraso and the draftsman Fernando Jaramillo, had the initiative to found in Medellín, Colombia, a design and construction company, taking advantage of the accelerated growth and development of the city during the 1950`s.

Based on the solid principles of quality, compliance and integrity that they had received from their studies in the School of Mines of Antioquia, the company grew through its building activity, becoming today into a solid organization, capable of facing complex engineering and architectural challenges of different nature in the construction and infrastructure sectors.

The prestige and positioning that AIA has achieved through time, is due to the experience and knowledge to find innovative and sustainable solutions in a close and trusting environment with our clients and suppliers, and also to a company culture oriented towards compliance, quality, industrial safety and a total respect for the environment.

Some of our projects have been distinguished with awards and recognitions thanks to their excellence in design and construction.

Our long term objective is that the success of AIA transforms into progress for the country and for the development of our collaborators.
